The Story
The company is primarily concerned with producing clothing from renewable natural materials in Austria. This ensures the necessary transparency for all production steps, low CO2 emissions through short traffic routes and fair compensation.
Ompura stands for natural, modern wool and loden clothing for women and men, which meet personal requirements for uniqueness through individually designed products. All models are made exclusively from renewable, natural materials. The wool fabrics in many different designs are produced in small Austrian companies. Ompura fulfills the longing for a unique piece of clothing. Each model becomes a very personal one-off piece by the customer through an individual color combination and size adjustment. In order not to waste resources unnecessarily, no massproduced goods are made. The production of the individual garments only takes place after the order has been placed and therefore requires a delivery time of three to four weeks.

2019: Ompura receives the award of the Styrian State Prize Energy Globe STYRIA AWARD 2019 in the application category.
2020: With "Black Sheep", Ompura is the first company to develop a quilted fabric made of three layers of wool for warm winter clothing.
