The Story
Our generation is already affected by climate change and can not ignore this reality. Many young people would rather celebrate and live climate-neutral today than tomorrow. Many other people, however, still live according to the same old patterns although there are new, ecological alternatives.
To change that, a company from Styria has developed the ecological Strohboid Building System for free forms of any size and span, from Tiny Houses to Olympic Stadiums.
Whether mobile, membrane-covered Stage Tent, open Pavilions or Straw-insulated Passive house: the consistently ecological and carbon-neutral Strohboid building system offers the perfect solution for any application. A carbon-negative solution for the building sector, responsible for over 40% of all carbon emissions.
Success Factor | Hero Moment
The first client of the permanent Pavilion had a unique location. Seeing the Strohboid Structure flying through the sky by a huge crane, was not only a sublime moment, but literally the takeoff. Within the first year this place became a beautiful showroom and has attracted many more customers.
